How to zoom video area or crop video area

Getting Started

At first, open the video with a drag and drop of its file on the main screen or press on the "Open" button and select the video file.

Then you have to specify the start and end time of the video part that you want to zoom.

To do that enter the start and end time in the appropriate boxes or move the track bar handles.

You can view a preview of the video at the selected time position by pressing on the "Update Image" button or when you change the start or end time value.

By clicking on the start time box you select the "Start Time" and view its preview and by selecting the end time box you select the "End Time" and view its image preview thumbnail.

Afterwards, select the Source Area i.e. the area that you want to zoom.

To do that you can drag the red rectangle of the source area to the point where the area that you want to zoom is. Also you can move the handles of the corners of the red rectangle to resize it.

Moreover, alternatively if you want, you can also enter the X, Y coordinates and the width and height values of the area you want to zoom in the "Source Area Position and Size" box that is on the lower left part of the screen.

Then you have to specify the destination area i.e. where the source area will get zoomed to and how large it will be.

To do that, you can drag the yellow rectangle of the destination area and resize it by moving the handles on its corners.

Alternatively you can also enter the X, Y coordinates and the width and height values of the area you want to zoom in the "Destination Area Position and Size" box that is on the lower middle part of the screen.

Check on the "Keep Aspect Ratio" checkbox so that the destination area will keep the aspect ratio of the source area and the source area does not get distorted.

If you want to zoom also other video parts of the video you can press on the "Add Clip" button and then you can specify the start and end time and source and destination zoom area of the video.

Also, select whether to overlay i.e. zoom area of the video and overlay it on top of the video or crop i.e. crop area of the video entirely by clicking on the "Overlay" or "Crop" radio buttons.

Finally, press on the "Zoom / Crop" button of the toolbar and select the output format of the video and press on the "OK" button and wait the application to do its job.

After the zoomed video is generated Windows Explorer will open with its file being selected (you can change that from the "When Finished" menu of the "Options" menu) .

Options

You can also specify various options.

Specifically, press on the "Options" button to specify whether to "join overlay parts" or "join crop parts" i.e. if you want to join the video clips produced into one video or if you want separate video clips for each zoom area.

Check on the "Draw Overlay Box" to draw a box around the overlay destination area of the video and you can also specify its color and thickness in pixels.

You can also specify in case you are joining cropped videos the padding color and padding align position of the video.

Moreover, select "Filename Options" from the menu "Options" to specify the filename pattern of the generated output video.

How to view preview image of the zoom

To view a preview image of the zoom press on the "View Preview Image" of the toolbar.

Then you can view how the video at the specified time position will be with the current options.

How to change user interface language

When the application is first started it asks you for your desired user interface language. You can also change the user interface language from the "Language" menu.
