SWREG, Inc. is required to collect VAT tax since they have offices within the European Union. They collect the VAT rate of each individual country then remit the collected tax to the proper tax authority. If the customer inputs a valid VAT Exempt Number on the order form (field VAT Number) the tax will be removed from the order total.
