How to split pdf

To split pdf, at first select the "Split / Delete Pages / Extract Pages" tab.

Then, add the documents to split by pressing the "Add File" button. You can also add the contents of entire directories by pressing the "Add Directory" button.

Alternatively, you can simply drag and drop pdf document files from windows explorer to the list and they will be added automatically.

After having specified the documents to be splited, press the "Split" button.

Then, the options screen will show up.

There you can specify how to split the documents.You can specify to split page ranges, or the option to split pages containing a specific text in them and it can also be specified to split only every n th page.

The documents can be split , along with the previous options, based on their bookmarks (the bookmark level can also be chosen).

You can also split pdf after a number of continuous blank pages.

Document properties such as title, author, subject and keywords can be set.

Also, the documents can be encrypted with an owner and user password.

A custom document header and footer can be set and positioned, or a custom header or footer image can be specified.

When Splitting PDF Files based on Bookmarks you can add, as a parameter in the output's filename.

[BOOKMARK_SHORT_TEXT] for Bookmark's Short Text (Title)

[BOOKMARK_FULL_TEXT] for Bookmark's Full Text (Title and Titles of parent bookmarks)
