How to Use
Before deleting empty folders make sure that they are not useful and important !
At first, run the application and select the folders you want to scan by checking them on the folder browser that is on the left side of the screen.
Alternatively, you can select the folders you want to scan in Windows Explorer and the right click on them and select "Remove Empty Folders" from the menu and the application will open automatically with the specified folders selected.
Afterwards, press the "Scan" button and wait for the folders to be scanned.
The folders that are empty will be displayed in a tree and list structure. Select the folders you want to delete by checking them in the list structure and then press the "Delete Empty Folders" button to delete them.
By pressing the "Check All" and "Uncheck All" all the displayed empty folders are selected and unselected accordingly.
You can also filter the list of empty folders that is being displayed. Enter the filter value in the textbox and press the enter button.
Then only folders whose file path contains this value will be displayed. Also, you can enter a regular expression in the second textbox to filter the list of empty folders.
Options
Select "Options" from the "Tools" menu to access the various options of the applications.
There, it is possible to specify whether the empty folders will be deleted permanently, moved to the recycle bin.
You can also specify which filenames will be considered as junk files e.g. desktop.ini or thumbs.db.
The user can also specify which folders to ignore i.e. which folders not to examine for empty folders.
Additionally, the user can also specify the protected folders i.e. the folders that will never be deleted, even if they are considered as empty or junk.

The user can select to ignore hidden directories and to consider folders with files that have zero file sizes as junk. Additionally, the user can select to consider only folders with empty or junk subfolders as empty and to delete the empty folders with administrative rights in order to avoid deletion errors.
How to change user interface language
When the application is first started it asks you for your desired user interface language.
You can also change the user interface language from the "Language" menu.
